New temporary Community Warden

Viv Hickmott is currently the Warden for Headcorn and will be splitting her time between both parishes. The whole Community Warden system is undergoing a recruitment drive and it is anticipated that by the end of May we will either be sharing a warden with other local parishes (Sutton Valence and Leeds ?) or be looked after by a 'roving' warden attached to the Community Safety Unit (CSU) based in Maidstone.

In the meantime, Viv can be contacted on 07969 583923. For your information, Nicola (Parih Clerk) met with Viv last Wednesday and provided her with a copy of the Parish Plan and explained the Parish hot-spots (Butlers Farm, Playing Field, etc.) and the residents ongoing issues of speeding cars, overweight lorries, dog fouling, etc.

Viv has made a note of the Farmers' Markets dates and will endeavour to attend where possible.
